Position Description:
The award-winning Different Pointe of View, a recipient of the AAA Four Diamond Award for 17 consecutive years and recognized as a Distinguished Restaurant of North America (DiRoNA Guide), is currently seeking Sous Chefs who are creative, highly motivated, eager and enthusiastic to assist in preparing fabulous dishes and quality meals. The position demands creativity on a daily basis, excellent communication skills, and the ability to maintain the highest of culinary standards. Applicant should also work well under pressure, be organized, flexible, self-motivated.
Our Executive Sous Chef requires 4 years on-the-job experience as a Sous Chef required in fine-dining kitchens with solid references from superiors and co-workers alike.
Different Pointe of View is also looking for an additional Sous Chef with 2 years experience in a fine-dining restaurant as a Sous Chef required.
These positions require the ability to create menus, execute banquets, control food cost, control labor cost, and have excellent leadership and professionalism. Also required are outstanding communication skills and organizational abilities.
Culinary graduate preferred.
