Harvest restaurant is currently searching for an experienced chef looking for a position in one of Wisconsin?s most notable restaurants. Harvest draws its inspiration from the traditions of American and French cuisines with a modern emphasis on the finest and freshest seasonal ingredients. Our evolving menu takes advantage of the great variety of local and organic ingredients raised by this region?s farmers.
Harvest has just celebrated our seven-year anniversary and we looking for someone to continue our mission of serving one of Wisconsin?s most inspired menus. Recent accolades include a visit to the James Beard House in New York City, featured in the 2006 Restaurant Issue of Bon Appetit, noted in New York Times Magazine as Madison?s Must-Visit Restaurant, Organic Style Magazine Top 20 Restaurants in the US, and most recently featured in this month?s Gourmet Magazine Restaurant Issue (October 2007) as one of America?s Best Farm-To-Table Restaurants.
We are searching for a candidate who is inspired by cooking seasonally and regionally. We do not limit our menu strictly to local ingredients due to the shorter growing season of the Midwest. But we are able to feature over 85% of our menu ingredients that are raised or grown right here in our own backyard.
