StarChefs.com, an online magazine for the culinary industry, is now accepting applications for a food-savvy, hardworking, and - most importantly - detailed Junior Publicist to work three days a week with the possibility to work full time. We are seeking a dynamic and energetic self-starter with strong organizational and writing skills. This is a perfect opportunity for someone that wants to learn the food industry, make high level contacts and grow with a company that is going places.

The Jr. Publicist will work with the editorial department, marketing and events managers to plan, organize, and oversee, press activity for StarChefs.com website material and events, including four Rising Stars Revue events per year and the StarChefs.com International Chefs Congress.
In addition to publicizing the editorial content of StarChefs.com, you will work on our four Rising Stars events, and our annual International Chef's Congress. This world-class culinary symposium will take place over three days in September in New York and feature seminars, a product fair, chef demonstrations and exclusive dinners.
The ideal candidate will have a high level of energy and work well both independently and as a part of a small, dedicated culinary magazine team. Knowledge and obsession of fine-dining restaurants, food and wine a real plus - more of a requirement really.
