|Position Description:||Very busy Italian restaurant/wine bar is seeking a Sous Chef.|
The ideal candidate will possess a strong knowledge of food and methods of food preparation and should have at least one year of line experience.
Additionally experience is desired in the areas of: ordering, dealing with vendors, setting pars, taking inventory and evaluating food and menu item cost.
Culinary school is a plus, but not required.
Candidates should have a great attitude and a very strong work ethic.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience and ability and there is significant opportunity for advancement in the short term.
