Position Description:
Style, visual excellence and a passion for being the best are the primary requirements.Supervises the specialty restaurant kitchen area and food prep staff. Coordinates menus, purchasing, staffing and food prep for the hotel's specialty restaurant.Is responsible for ensuring a consistent, high quality food product for the specialty restaurant. Works with the Food and Beverage management team and associates to continually improve guest and associate satisfaction while maintaining the operating budget.
The ideal candidate should have a culinary degree, 3-5 years progressive experience in a quality high volume operation with experience in all new culinary trends.
You must be able to articulate and demonstrate your imagination and ability to create the finest in visual presentations and preparations of salads, hors d'oeuvers, crudite, etc. Ice carving ability is a plus!!!
