Details: Mitchums a new Steakhouse Restaurant and Bar located on the Eastern Shore of Maryland is seeking an Executive Chef. This is an excellent opportunity for a chef who can execute consistent, high quality menu items by being hands on and working side by side with kitchen staff, ensuring that each item is prepared to perfection.

We are looking for a focused professional who is team-oriented, supportive leader, who believes in serving the highest quality food with friendliness and competency.

If you have a passion for service, commitment to uncompromising quality, strong attention to detail, and a belief that the best Chefs are those working on the line, not in the office  then this is the job for you.

Requirements: Requirements include a minimum of five (5) years full service high quality restaurant or hotel experience and a Culinary Arts Degree or equivalent preferred.

The Executive Chef will be responsible for menu planning and food preparation. He must be able to manage food and labor costs, have strong culinary skills and great communication skills.

Start Date: The Restaurant is scheduled to open June 2007. We require the Executive Chef to be on board for planning and training some three (3) to four (4) months ahead of opening.

Salary: Commensurate with experience.
