|Position Description:||Upscale American Comfort Food Restaurant, New York City. Well established restaurant with a unique & innovative concept. |
Seeks Executive Chef. Responsibilities include executing the menu of Cafeteria's 24 hour upscale comfort food concept, management of kitchen staff, hiring and training of sous chefs, scheduling, food & labor cost controls, enforcing health codes and maintaining an immaculate work environment. Responsibilities also include training all staff on consistency, presentation, food styling,bold flavors, temperatures, quality as well as controls and a strong constitution on teaching how to produce the best quality of food.
MUST BE A STRONG LEADER, demand strong management of sous chefs and excellent organizational and communication skillls. Applicants should work well under pressure, & have a sense of urgency. Requirements include minimum 3yrs experience in high volume management. Must be quality driven with a track record, applicant should have working knowledge of Spanish, comprehension of profit & loss and strong computer skills, must have checkable references. ONLY SERIOUS NEED APPLY.
Other pluses include positive mental attitude, able to work well with crisis management, well groomed & outgoing personality, great food styling & bold flavors with a tremendous work ethic and drive.
