Working in remote Alaska is for the creative and adventurous! We are seeking chefs to join our culinary team for our 2007 summer season. This is a four month commitment beginning approximately May 15. Within The Wild Adventure Company owns Redoubt Bay Lodge, a small jewel-box wilderness lodge one-hour small plane flight south of Anchorage at the edge of the Lake Clark National Park area --- and Winterlake Lodge, a wilderness spa resort along the Iditarod Trail at the edge of the Alaska Range. We cater to active upscale adventure-travel clientele. Our chefs are part of our management and leadership team. Redoubt Bay Lodge is well known for its intimate and unique wilderness setting. We offer a multisport overnight accomodations as well as a day bearviewing program. Winterlake Lodge offers daily cooking classes in the kitchen as well as tours of our herb gardens and wellness program featuring yoga and complimentary massage. Adventure activities at the lodge include helicopter glacier trekking, rafting, sportfishing and wildlife viewing.
