RESTAURANT MAITRED - or - CAPTAIN

Qualifications This position requires five to seven years food and beverage experience with emphasis in fine dining and two years minimum food and beverage supervisory experience. This position also requires a thorough knowledge of the wine industry and fine wines. BA/BS in Business Management or Hospitality Management is preferred.
This candidate must have the ability to work with limited supervision and communicate effectively verbally and in writing with the public and trade. This candidate must also have the ability to train service staff on standards, wine knowledge, and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced restaurant environment.
Maitre'd - The successful candidate will have extensive prior experience in upscale restaurants or hospitality environment and be wine savvy.
Captain - The succesful Candidate will have experience running a restaurant floor and be aware of all aspects of service, experience with fine dining and wine and also be ready to expand on that knowledge daily.
