Applicants to this position must reside within a 90 mile radius of the property.
 
Position Description:Chef Charlie Palmer is looking for a Pastry Chef for The Stirling Club at Turnberry Place. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years scratch pastry production and menu planning experience in a fine dining establishment or equivalent. Must be extremely creative and have a palate for combining flavors and textures with strong knowledge of classical cuisine as well as home baked items. Must be able to work independently to meet multiple outlet requirements. Written and verbal comprehension of English language is required. A Bachelors Degree in Hospitality or Pastry related field or equivalent is required.

The Pastry Chef manages the preparation of breads, rolls, muffins, desserts, pastries, confections and chocolates. Additionally, this position plans and executes production, supplies recipes and implements methods and procedures to meet goals while working seamlessly with entire brigade. Fashions table and pastry decorations from sugar pastes and icings, using decorating tools.
