Freemans seeking Sous Chef/Expeditor

Position Description:Freemans is a casual, bustling restaurant located at the end of an alley in New York City's Lower East Side neighborhood. Freemans serves rustic American cuisine that focuses on organic, seasonal ingredients.

We are currently serving dinner seven nights a week and brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. The restaurant recently expanded from 50 seats to 100 and we are looking for enthusiastic people committed to quality food and service to join the growing Freemans team.


SOUS CHEF / EXPEDITOR

Responsibilities:
-Training Staff
-Specials
-Ordering
-Expediting Dinner and Brunch Services

Requirements:

-Five years kitchen experience in fast-paced, service oriented restaurants. Culinary Education preferred.
  
Company Profile:Freemans restaurant serves rustic seasonal American fare in a hideaway tavern locale. We feature an Old World wine list and specialize in classic cocktails and liquors. Freemans is located at the end of Freeman's Alley off of Rivington Street between the Bowery and Chrystie on the Lower East Side.
