The Putney Inn is a landmark of Southern Vermont. Our passion is reflected in the integrity of our food and the warmth of our accomodating service. We have 25 guest rooms, serving three meals daily with a la carte seating for 160. We have a strong presence in banquet catering for groups up to 300. We roll with seasonal summer through October volume highs and extreme winter volume lows.
The Inn is privately owned and managed. Ownership is motivated by pride and passion and seeks a chef with similar motivation. The chef is expected to fully participate as a creative team contributor to our continued growth. The Executive Chef we seek is a hands-on culinarian with proven organizational, and food and labor cost control skills. This is a hands-on position with food production and line responsibilities. This position requires energy and the hunger to drive our high standards even higher.
