Position Description:
Come work at one of the nation's premier luxury resorts. The Four Star, Five Diamond Greenbrier Resort's private residential club, The Greenbrier Sporting Club, seeks Director of Food and Beverage. The F&B Director oversees the operations of the Club's Food and Beverage outlets: restaurant, bar, pool-side grill, on-site event catering, and new venue to open in 2007. Responsibilities include planning for new venue, budgeting and cost containment; inventory; ordering/purchasing/receiving; staff hiring, scheduling and management; wine list development; creation of a positive environment for employees; and continually exceeding expectations of Club members and their guests. Preferred knowledge/qualifications: 4-year college degree; 5 years experience in fine dining with extensive food and wine knowledge and exposure to all aspects of food and beverage. Successful candidate will possess an overall demeanor that exudes hospitality. Salary commensurate with experience.
