Position Description:
Exciting position available as sous chef in a popular wine bar in Fort Greene, Brooklyn. Person must be trained and professionally experienced. This job is a great growth opportunity for someone with a passion for seasonal food using fresh market ingredients and a knowledge of food and wine pairings. Must be self motivated and able to work in a small team as well as alone. Candidate must be willing to participate in all aspects of running a kitchen including cooking to order, prepping, organizing, cleaning, dishwashing and shopping. Applicants must be available immediately to work full time and have no other job commitments.
Starting salary is $25,000 with excellent opportunity for advancement.
