Position Description:Responsible for managing all aspects of the Kitchen, Kitchen personnel, ensuring the quality preparation of all menu items and proper handling/storing of all food items in accordance with standards. Must possess strong culinary skills in both hot and cold preparations and 3 years experience in a 4 or 5 Star hotels is required. Prior management experience is also required. Responsible for managing the development and training of BOH employee skills and knowledge, ensuring recipe adherence, maintaining a sound and timely flow of food production to ensure consistency, controlling inventory and labor costs, odering and receiving products. Repsonsible for overseeing restaurant production, new menu implementations, completing paperwork accurately and in sufficient time, and positively impacting employee moral, and productivity and effectiveness through strong leadership, positive mental attitude and outgoing personality.
