Experienced Banquet Chef to join our Creative Culinary Team at the Windsor Court Hotel and the acclaimed New Orleans Grill Room.
Responsible for all aspects of managing the banquet kitchen and personnel, ensuring the quality prparation of all menu items and proper handling/storage of all food items in accourdance with standards. Coordinates the purchase of all food and develops menus, maintaining approved inventory, food costs and labor costs.
Review banquet function sheets, Assist Catering department with developing special menusfor functions, To seek opportunities to increase revenues, minimize expenses and increase employee productivity without sacrificing guest services. Instruct staff in the correct usage and care of all machinery in the kitchen operation, stressing safety.
Education College degree or equivalent. Food handling certificate. Minimum four years experience in a luxury hotel.
