Sous Chef - Banquets

Position Description:Must possess strong culinary skills in both hot and cold preparations. Experience: Prior large volume banquet/catering culinary experience; must have 3 years experience in 4 or 5 Star hotel; prior supervisory experience preferred. Ensure the quality preparation of all menu items Must understand the fundamentals of food and labor cost controls. Ensure the proper handling / storage of all food items in accordance with hotel standards and sanitation/health regulations. Education: Culinary qualification preferred. Lifting required.
