Position Description:Shintaro, in the Bellagio Resort, is seeking an experienced Teppan Cook. Must have at least one to three years Japanese cooking experience and excellent sanitation skills. Duties include but are not limited to:

 Ensure products are rotating on a first in, first out philosophy
 Maintain solid knowledge of all food products
 Able to identify and safely use all kitchen equipment
 Able to read, measure and execute recipes
 Able to apply advanced knife skills required for service
 Maintaining menu knowledge and attention to detail with plate presentation
 Versatile in preparing both hot and cold items
 Exhibiting a thorough knowledge, understanding and application of all cooking techniques
 Assisting chef, sous chef, master cook, cook, and pantry as needed in execution of service
 Maintaining a solid knowledge, understanding and preparation of sauces
 Skillfully and knowledgeable work in pantry station
 Ensuring food quality is superior and takes action to correct any irregularities
 Maintaining a high level of professionalism by exhibiting the art of excellence philosophy
 Working as a team assisting all guest, and employees needs and inquires
 Effectively communicating with management, chefs, service staff, and above all guest
 Ensuring that guest are having a pleasurable experience, exited and satisfied
 Following all procedures and policies set forth by the company, division and department
 Follow all health and safety regulations
