One of the countrys most respected food manufactures is conducting a search for a Nutrition Program Manager. The company is an American Icon. The position reports into the Vice President, Global Nutrition. The purpose of this position is to provide effective wellness programs to support the companys response to a variety of health issues.
The position will work with the R&D department (over 600 total associates) to align nutritional value added with FDA requirements and establish alliances with Universities in regards to nutritional type research. The chosen candidate will lead a Nutrition Department of 9, maintain a nutritional database, work with product development, legal, and marketing departments, set trials/tests, and coordinate results regarding company products. In addition, you will conduct studies on dietary patterns and food needs of population groups, release reports and other publications relating to value added program accomplishments, represent company at meetings, conventions, and other forums to promote program objectives, and manage department budget. Travel is required approximately 25% of the time.
Requirements:
7 PhD required, education should be eclectic 7 12-15+ years of related experience. 7 5 years of strong leadership experience. 7 Must have strong knowledge of: o Nutrition o Chemistry o Consumer Trends o Food Science o Regulations o Toxicology 7 Strong management and leaderships skills
Compensation package will include a base salary $100k-$130k, bonus, stock, full relocation and the best benefits package in the industry.
