How to Copy and Paste a resumé from another application
NOTE: These instructions are for those whose resumé is NOT in Microsoft Word or Plain Text format.
If your resumé is in Microsoft Word or Plain Text (a.k.a. ASCII) format,
Click Here to log in and upload your resumé.
For example, let's say you have your resume on a Web page. The screen shots
below will show you how to get your resume into the JobFinder.

STEP ONE: Open your resumé as you normally would. (In this case, in IE)
STEP TWO: In the 'Edit' menu, click 'Select All'.

STEP THREE: All the text will change color. Then, in the 'Edit' menu, click 'Copy'.

STEP FOUR: Log into your Job Seeker account on our Job Finder.
STEP FIVE: Under 'MY ACCOUNT', click 'Update your Resumé'.

STEP SIX: Select 'Manually enter (or copy & paste) a resumé', then click 'On to step 2'.

| STEP SEVEN: | Click on the white box to the right of 'Your resumé'. A flashing cursor (vertical line) will appear in the white box. |

STEP EIGHT: In the 'Edit' menu, click 'Paste'.

STEP NINE: The resumé text appears in the box. Click 'Complete your resumé update'.
